IDEA Committee Update

With restrictions now easing, we all look forward for life to return to a new normal. It has been an unusual 3 months, and for some of us it might take some time to readjust and find new motivations. For anyone in need of help, we would like to remind you of the range of initiatives offered by the ANU. As part of a community where we look after each other, please be kind and check on your students, colleagues and peers.  

The IDEA committee has continued to work in the background to deliver our top priority initiatives. We have now booked Unconscious Bias Training sessions to be delivered in 2022 at MSO and SSO (dates TBD), and we have an almost final draft for the Culture Survey. Early in the new year, the ANU Respectful Relationship Unit will deliver us training on Understanding and Responding to Sexual Violence. We are also working to bring you a number of initiatives and support on Mental Health which we hope we will be able to announce for the next newsletter.
