I hope everyone is enjoying being back at Stromlo as much as I am! The food waste league table can begin again, with Possum Hall still out in the lead having collected over 100kg now. Overall, we've collectively saved close to 300kg from landfill - a fantastic achievement we can all be proud of! Fingers crossed we can reach that milestone by the end of the year...
Despite delays due to COVID and the recent bad weather, the community garden is really starting to come together now. Most of the raised beds have been filled, the pathway is marked out, and some more aesthetic work is being done. Take a walk down to house 18 to check out the progress, and keep an eye out in a few weeks time for the full story (in pictures) of the garden's transformation.
Finally, your regular reminder of the extra recycling boxes available in Duffield, Wooley, and CSO for hart-to-recycle items. Things like disposable razors, toothbrushes, and medicine blister packs can all be dropped off there, but please see here for the full, extensive list.
