IDEA Committee Update
Published in the RSAA Lunations
Vol1 Issue25 1–28 February 2022
As we are settling back into work and study for the year ahead, we all look forward for life on campus to return to some sort of normality. We are aiming to soon be able to confirm the dates for the Unconscious Bias and SASH training starting from March, with more events to follow regularly throughout the year. We are working with central ANU to meet all privacy and IT requirements for the Culture Survey, and we hope to roll it out soon.
The quiet room is now ready to use. A comfy lounge chair and a few paintings which have been kindly donated by Ralph will be added soon. A big thanks to Georgie and other students who worked towards making the quiet room a reality!
The room is located on the ground level of the Woolley building, W003 next to the bridge towards Duffield. If you intend to use the room, please book it here and/or use the sign on the door to notify that it is occupied:
www.mso.anu.edu.au/mrbs → Meeting Rooms from the drop-down menu → RSAA Wellness Room. Please be mindful of other people using the room, keep it clean and tidy.
With some of us moving to different roles or taking up new commitments, the IDEA committee is also looking for new members across all levels: students, technical, professional and academic staff. Please, do volunteer at idea.rsaa@anu.edu.au or come and talk to any of us. A small investment of your time can make a big difference! With the application for the Silver Pleiades Award due later in the year, your help is needed now more than ever.
