PhD

We would like to warmly welcome our new batch of six students who have been offered admission to our PhD program and freshly commenced their degree: Neelesh Amrutha, Sarah Bradbury, Koko Dove, Erin Holdorf, Isaac Kanowski and Lindsey Oberhelman.

Choosing to do your PhD at RSAA is a decision well made. We are delighted to have you join our community who will support your professional development, academic success, and personal well-being. We are confident that you will find this a truly exciting time to work with researchers of international reputation in an environment that offers special opportunities for intellectual stimulation to nurture your passion for discoveries in astrophysics.

Honours

RSAA welcomes the largest Honours student cohort in recent times (or ever?), with ten new students starting in semester 1: Spencer Collaviti, Lewis Miller, Luka Mijnarends, Eric Muller, Jason Price, Sophia Ridolfo, Zachary Steyn, William Wall, Anne Xie, and Ziqi Yuan.

They are all looking forward to research projects at RSAA and also the CGA.

Masters

We also welcome three new coursework Masters students in semester 1: Lam Xuan Tran, Qingyun Yang, and Chuhan Zhang.

Further Honours and Master students will start mid-year.
