Brian Cox was at Mt Stromlo filming a new documentary for the ABC's Catalyst program. The program is due to air some time in October.

You can look forward to seeing him chat with some of our astronomers including Charley Lineweaver, Naomi McClure-Griffiths, Brian Schmidt, and Brad Tucker.

Note of thanks from ABC producer....

“On behalf of the entire crew from ABC Catalyst and the Prof Brian Cox team, I would like to personally thank you all for your patience, enthusiasm, bending on the rules, teamwork and kindness you gave to us during filming, and throughout the organisation of the shooting days.

I know it was pretty chaotic before and during filming, but you managed it all with such calmness and professionalism – it is a huge credit to you as a team at Mt Stromlo.

The filming on Friday night was very successful, despite the cold and darkness. The Producers are very happy & positive about everything they filmed and captured at the Observatory.”
