School Manager's Update
Published in the RSAA Lunations
Vol1 Issue44 1–30 September 2023
Hello everyone,
It has been a busy moving week for residents of the Woolley Building, IT and the Admin team.
On Friday, together with the mighty revivalist crew, we moved 17 sit-stand desks to AITC, including about 10 up a steep flight of stairs into ATIC 2. On top of this, we shuffled countless other pieces of furniture between offices and buildings. By 4 pm we had run out of time and energy, with Joseph, Michelle and I taking about 18,000 steps each, with the movers doing perhaps double that.
We have given the movers a long weekend to recover until they will return on Tuesday September 5 to finalise the job. The remaining boxes and personal items will be delivered to your new office at that point.
All-in-all by the end of the move, we would have moved, disposed and sorted through:
· 65+ desks
· 39 drawer units
· 62 bookcases
· 88 chairs
· 6 meeting tables
Thank you for everyone's help, it was a big endeavor, which we can look forward to completing in the reverse order sometime in Q1 2024.

Admin Staffing
We are expecting a few staffing changes in Admin
Firstly, we say a big thank you and see you later to Joseph Hong, who is moving up in roles, but down the mountain to Physics.
Joseph has been a great help over the past few months, diligently and enthusiastically handling purchasing, payments and other School-related matters.
From Sept 18, he will slowly commence transitioning to Physics, so drop by and say farewell.
The recruitment for our new EA, who will take the ropes from Michelle continues. If you know anyone who might be interested, there are 2 more days to apply.
In the meantime, we have a range of staff changes coming up. We will announce those in the near timeframe.
Talk soon,
Mat Malzacher
