Exciting Adaptive Optics Project

The KASI AO system was tested here on the EOS 1 m telescope, and we recently achieved excellent results by resolving several large satellites. We are able to resolve features such as solar panels, and main satellite body. You can see satellite rotation as it orbits.

NGS2 is a multi-guide star tip-tilt wavefront sensor. The system has now been built and is undergoing testing in the AO lab.
