IDEA Committee Update

With the holiday season just around the corner and the year drawing to a close, the IDEA committee would like to express gratitude to everyone at RSAA for actively participating in the social, cultural, and training events organised by the School. We will continue these activities in the upcoming year.
 
In preparation for the 2024 School review, there will be an IDEA Town Hall meeting in the second half of February. This gathering will provide an opportunity to take stock of what has been done so far, and collaboratively develop a strategic plan for the next few years. Notably, the Equitable Hiring Strategy has been a key focus, and we are pleased to observe the successful implementation of many recommendations since its presentation last year. As we enter the peak of the academic hiring round, we encourage those involved in hiring panels to familiarise themselves with the Equitable Hiring Strategy.
 
The holiday season is a great time to relax and recharge, but if you find yourself in need of assistance or support, please be aware of the resources available for both staff and students.

We wish you all a great and restful break, and we look forward to engaging with you for another fruitful year!
