HDR Updates

This is my first HDR Lunations entry in history :) …if you didn’t know already, we have > 50 PhD students at RSAA, so from time to time I will provide some updates on anything related to HDR (Higher Degree by Research) — that is, primarily about our PhD program.

First of all, let’s welcome a few new students who started their PhD recently:

We are currently evaluating applications for our RSAA-funded PhD scholarships. All I can say at this stage is that we received a record-high of more than 100 PhD applications, have ranked them to create a shortlist, and will conduct interviews shortly.

As a reminder, we have recently updated the HDR student handbook, with information about the PhD program that all students and supervisors should be familiar with. The document is located on our Intranet here (only accessible from inside ANU or via VPN): Student Handbook
