Outreach Update

We hosted 15 schools with around 800 students up at Mt Stromlo. We also hosted two groups of school holidays programs with Mulligans Flat where the kids spent part of the day at Mulligans and part of the day up here at Mt Stromlo.
We also ran public nights at Mt Stromlo during school holidays, which had close to 2000 people, as well Mulligans Flat for our first public night there. These nights are already mostly booked out for the year (see below for dates)! We also ran our night at Lanyon Homestead night and due to the demand, we will run extra nights during Floriade.
We also had our first lecture in the Stromlo 100th Anniversary series, given by Naomi on the SKA. It was well attended! The next one will be by Matthew on the 21st of June.
As mentioned above, we also ran nights at Thredbo Resort. Students Kez and Jess braved the cold and managed to run two nights of stargazing session for groups saying in Jindabyne. Given the success of this (it was timed for the school holidays), we will be partnering with Thredbo to run many more during the Winter.
And next month, we will hopefully have some exciting news on the cafe front - despite the relative quiet - there is movement afoot!
