As the colder, dark nights of May reached us, so did an increase for outreach nights!

We hosted 23 different school groups from multiple states, with about 800 students in total.  We also had another 28 private groups visit, with many more wanting to visit.

While we have three sites for public nights monthly now - Mt Stromlo, Mulligans Flat, and Lanyon Homestead, all three had bad weather.  We are hoping for some clearer skies this month.

As part of the Mount Stromlo 100th anniversary series, Matthew Colless will be giving a talk on 'Telescopes: 100 years of evolving technology and advancing discovery' on 21 June at the Coombs Theatre.
