Advanced Instrumentation Technology Centre Update

About half (25) of AITC staff & students along with our Astralis colleagues attended the SPIE Astronomical Telescopes + Instrumentation 2024 conference in Yokohama in June.

More than 2,000 attendees from around the world gathered together to present their latest advancements in telescope technologies and instrumentation for ground-based, airborne and space-based telescopes.

AITC alone presented 14 posters and 6 talks to the community. It was a great platform to meet our international collaborators for projects as well as meeting delegates from the major international observatories and industry professionals.
