A new semester has begun and while some of the IDEA planned activities and training for the remainder of the year are temporarily paused, the commitment to maintaining RSAA as an inclusive and diverse community remains strong. Additionally, there are still numerous opportunities available for those interested in networking, promoting IDEA values, and making a positive impact.
The Rights, Relationships and Respect in Research (R4) is a new online training designed by the Respectful Relationships Unit for HDR candidates and their supervisors and comes highly recommended: Click here for more information. HDR supervisors can use the completion of this training as their yearly renewal activity.
The Superstars of STEM program aims to advance gender equity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing media training to selected women and non-binary individuals in STEM fields. This initiative seeks to shift perceptions of STEM by featuring diverse, high-profile role models in the media. If you are interested in applying, please do so by 1 September by clicking here.
