Outreach Update

Over the two weekends of Enlighten, we had nearly 10,000 people up at Mt Stromlo. The projections by the students at the School of Art were fantastic, and we had some great stargazing (at times!)

School groups visits were in full swing in March with a dozen visits and many more private sessions [booked through our new Private Stargazing booking system: check it out and tell your friends, family, acquaintances and strangers in the street...Ed.]. April is also likewise shaping up to be even busier!

Our normal public nights will start in April.  Anyone who is keen to come along and help, or even give a talk, please get in touch!

At the end of April, we will also start Saturday walking tours of Mt Stromlo, starting with the ACT Heritage Festival. 

We will also start our stargazing sessions in April at Lanyon Homestead (April 11, May 9, June 6, July 4, August 8, September 5, October 3, October 24) as well as continue our partnership with Thredbo and run school holiday programs.

We already have plans in the works to run school holiday programs in the winter school holidays up here with Mulligans Flat!
