The weather in May has mostly been cooperative - and relatively warm (for this time of year) in the evening making for some great stargazing!

We have had two clear public nights in May (2 and 30 May) with crowds well over 1000 on the night.  We celebrated National Reconciliation Week on the public night the 30th, with talks by Pete Swanton.  We also had a special event at Parliament House for it on the 28th as well with a sold out crowd.  We also had clear nights at Mulligans Flat (for May the Fourth) as well as Lanyon Homestead.

We will continue more nights at all these locations!

In addition to over a dozen schools this month, we had a special group of secondary teachers come from Papua New Guinea to learn about astronomy and ways we can help them.  We also had some very full weekends filled with private groups, including one private night with 500 people!
