Elevate SSO

Designs for the viewing platform deck and bathroom upgrades have now been finalised. While the overall concepts were settled some time ago, we’ve spent the past few months working through technical reviews, certification requirements, and other behind-the-scenes details.

Construction will be going to tender shortly, with completion targeted by mid-2026.

If you’re joining us for StarFest, you’re in for a treat — we’ll be unveiling a striking mural across the entire front façade of the Exploratory Building. The design is being finalised now, and painting is scheduled to begin in September.

The preliminary design is striking and beautiful, it’s certain to make an extraordinary impact on the site. This follows last year’s successful upgrades to the Exploratory content and the installation of the new playground.  Thank you to everyone who helped bring those improvements to life.
