2025 Zonta Women in Astronomy Scholarship

Congratulations to Maja Jablonska on being awarded the 2025 Zonta Women in Astronomy Scholarship, honouring her commitment and advocacy for the important role of women in science. 

"I have been awarded the Zonta Club of Canberra Breakfast RSAA Scholarship for 2025 and had the opportunity to give a public talk on stellar spectroscopy and its role in galactic archaeology at the Evening with the Stars event on Friday, 12th September. In my talk, I presented my research on developing tools for the analysis of time-series spectroscopic observations of inhomogeneous stars (i.e., spotted stars, fast rotators, and eclipsing binary systems)."
