School Manager's Report
Published in the RSAA Lunations
Vol1 Issue68 1–30 November 2025
Dear RSAA Community,
As we approach the end of another year, we have much to celebrate and be proud of, especially given the broader challenges faced across ANU.
Thank you to everyone for your hard work, contributions, and for supporting one another throughout the year.
I’d also like to acknowledge those who go above and beyond by volunteering their time to enrich our RSAA community. This includes organising and running events and conferences, BBQs, IDEA initiatives, social groups, serving on committees, and acting as site fire wardens and first aiders.
RSAA wouldn’t be the vibrant, welcoming, and safe community it is without these efforts.
Looking ahead, we’ll soon be calling for new wardens and first aiders for 2026. If you haven’t volunteered for one of these roles before, please consider doing so, and supervisors, please encourage your staff. More details will follow via email.
End-of-Year & Housekeeping
University Closure: ANU will close from 25 December and reopen on 5 January. During this time, the emergency contact for Mount Stromlo is ANU Security (6125 2249). For life-threatening emergencies, dial 000.
Before You Leave, please ensure all windows are closed and office rubbish bins emptied.
All MSO fridges will be cleared on Friday, 19 December (afternoon)—any remaining items will be disposed of.
Please return any RSAA cutlery that may have found its way home—knives, forks, and spoons are always welcome back!
Office Inspections: We’re currently conducting office inspections. Please keep your space tidy, especially shared offices. If you notice black Velcro tape on your desk, use it to secure computer cables neatly.
Looking forward to working with you all in 2026!
