School Manager Update

Hello everyone,

Following a period of significant leave over the past two months, the administration team is now fully re‑established and operating at full capacity. While we continue to address some residual backlogs, we are also progressing several high‑priority and strategically important initiatives:

HERDC Reporting:

The HERDC reporting period is underway, and we are undertaking a comprehensive review of the School’s 2025 research income.

MAVIS:

Focused efforts are continuing to ensure successful completion of the financial audits for the previous two years.

Elevate SSO:

The project has reached an advanced stage, with tender processes being finalised for the viewing platform and bathroom renovations. Subject to final approvals, construction is anticipated to commence in the coming weeks.

Stromlo Visitors Centre:

Progress across this project has been substantial, and we thank all contributors for their ongoing commitment. Content development is well advanced, with designers now engaged on the visual design of interpretive panels. The next stage of construction works is imminent, including ceiling, lighting, painting, and general renovations.

Planning is nearing completion for the café serving area works.

Additional project elements are progressing concurrently and will be communicated in due course.

While there is still a long journey ahead, it is happening!!
