IDEA Update

During the upcoming ASA Annual Scientific Meeting, there will be an IDEA Town Hall, Tuesday 7th July at 4pm, discussing how we can better recognise astronomy as a broader ecosystem. Not only astronomers, but also the engineers, professional staff, technicians, software developers, project managers, and many others whose expertise is essential to our community. If you're attending the meeting, I encourage you to come along and contribute to the discussion.

Finally, if you are interested in supporting equity, diversity, and inclusion across Australian astronomy, consider joining the ASA IDEA Chapter. The Chapter provides a great opportunity to contribute to initiatives that benefit our community, share ideas, and help shape the future direction of IDEA within Australian astronomy.
