A Quick Reminder for Departing Staff and HDR Students
A quick reminder to any staff member or HDR student who is finishing their contract or time at RSAA: please get in touch with me to receive the link to our exit survey.

A number of people have already completed the survey, and their feedback has been incredibly valuable in helping us understand their experiences at RSAA. Feedback will be collected throughout the year and summarised at the end of the year, helping us identify areas where we can continue to improve and make RSAA an even better place to work and study.

Neuroaffirming Practices Workshop
On Monday 2 November, from 10:00 am–12:00 noon, the ANU Inclusive and Respectful Communities team will visit RSAA to run a two-hour workshop on Neuroaffirming Practices. The workshop will be held in the CSO Common Room.

This conversational session will introduce the principles of neuroaffirming practice and explore ways of moving away from deficit-based thinking, which has traditionally been common in clinical and educational approaches.

The session will consider neurodivergence from a lived-experience perspective and discuss practical ways of creating more respectful, inclusive, and supportive spaces.

Everyone is welcome, and we encourage anyone who is interested to come along!
