Presentation and discussion in English in a café atmosphere. Hosted by the Alliance Française de Canberra in association with the IYL Committee Australia, the Australian French Association for Science and Technology, and the Australian Academy of Science.
Discussion led by a distinguished panel of science researchers and communicators including:
Prof. Ken Baldwin (ANU RSPE) – Chair IYL Australia, solar energy, lasers and quantum mechanics
Aditya Chopra (ANU RSES) – Astrobiology
Céline d’Orgeville (ANU RSAA) – Lasers and astronomy
Prof. Elanor Huntington (ANU CECS) – Quantum optics
Stuart Kohlhagen (Questacon) – Light in biology and health
