As you'll have seen from the Director's Update, funding for the community garden has been provided to the tune of $5,000. This is a fantastic result that will allow for a substantial transformation. We're most grateful to everyone that had input for the application, and to the Executive for agreeing to fund it.

We also hit another food waste milestone recently, with the total diverted from landfill now at over 150kg! Duffield is still well out in front, but all the kitchens are saving more and more organic waste from landfill every week!

It's been fantastic to see the response from the CSO to the new recycling bin there, really putting Woolley and Duffield to shame! A full list of what you can put in the extra recycling bins (currently located in the CSO kitchen, upper Woolley, and lower Duffield) is available on the intranet here.
