We've recently hit another milestone -- over 200kg of organic waste saved from landfill at Stromlo! This comes only 18 weeks after reaching 100kg, great work everyone! Don't forget, it's not only food waste that can go in these bins, any organic waste can, so things like paper towels and wooden cutlery are fine too. Just remember to let me know when they're full; there's a QR code you can scan on each bin.

The extra recycling boxes still seem under-utilised, but we're starting to collect significant amounts of some things. So far, we've sent off several kilos of medicine blister packs, hundreds of disposable coffee cups, and around 100 jars for reuse at the food co-op on campus. Although individually these might not seem like much, it all adds up, saving energy and finite resources. For a full list of what you can bring in, see the posters above the bins, or visit https://www.mso.anu.edu.au/syswiki/doku.php?id=sustainability:home#extra_recycling_at_rsaa (intranet only).

As always, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to get in touch at sustainability@mso.anu.edu.au.
