Congratulations - Dr Mohsen Rahmani

The 2017 IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in Laser Physics and Photonics (Fundamental Aspects) has been won by Dr Mohsen Rahmani (NLPC) “for his outstanding contributions to light-matter interactions at nanoscale, particularly nonlinear nanophotonics via metallic, dielectric and semiconductor nanostructures and metasurfaces, which have paved the road for extending nonlinear optics to nanoscale”.

Theoretical Physics (TP)
Prof Brian Robson is traveling 31 January - 15 February 2017. He will present an invited talk at the conference: ”Cosmology, Gravitational Waves and Particles”, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.

Due to staff training 6-9 February, there will be very limited Electronics Unit support.
