Director's Message

Dear Colleagues,

Please join us to celebrate Em/Professor Erich Weigold’s 80th birthday at 3:30 today in the School tea room.

I’m still keen to hear suggestions about how the EMCR community would like to represent themselves and propose to sponsor a lunch to help you organise your thoughts.  Could you please liaise with your reps (Lan Fu, AJ Mitchell, Matthew Hole and Jenny Wong-Leung) about a preferred date and I'll advertise in the Event Horizon.

This week’s pic shows one of ANU’s jewels, the Kioloa Coastal Campus.  I wish Lan and the HDR Team, Luda and Karen, all the best for our first annual student retreat on Monday.

Have a good weekend,

Tim

Morning Tea in Support of our LGBTI Community and Allies

Wednesday 15 November @ 10:30

The result of the marriage equality postal survey will be announced by the Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday 15th November. The school recognizes that this process may have been a stressful time for some members of the school community. A morning tea will be held at 10:30 on Wednesday 15th November to show support for our LGBTI community and ANU allies.
All staff, students and visitors are very welcome to attend.
