Director's Message

Dear Colleagues,

I hope you had a pleasant weekend.  After the flurry of the last few weeks this one seems comparatively quiet-ish.

The Electronic Unit is temporarily closed while we investigate the presence of a hazardous material.  I’m expecting that the Unit will re-open shortly, but until it does please be accommodating of our EU staff who would dearly love to get back working with you.

This week’s pic is of renowned alumnus, Professor Paul Sanberg, who will give a Distinguished Lecture on 'Innovation and the Translation of Research to Industry', Wednesday 7th March 2-3pm, at the China in the World Auditorium.

On the theme of engagement I also draw your attention to a workshop targeted on how to go about building external connection hosted by Dr Shannon Notley (see below, “Making Connections”)

Best regards,

Tim
