Director's Message

Colleagues,

University offers to staff and students, and consider taking one or two of these opportunities.  Most of information can be found on the web with a little effort.  A good starting place for staff is https://services.anu.edu.au/human-resources/leadership-staff-development, from where a range of possibilities suitable for academics and professional staff can be found. Whether a staff member or student, I’d encourage you to discuss with your supervisor what would be most appropriate for you.

Best wishes for the week ahead

 Steve

Vote for Germain

Dr. Germain Joplin was not only the first female academic in Earth Sciences / Geophysics at ANU, she was actually the very first academic (irrespective of gender) appointed by Jaegar the foundation Professor of Geophysics and her name is one of the shortlisted finalists for a building or street in/around the Kambri building in the new campus development.  It is out for a public poll that will close on April 4th!  See the link for more details.
